From 1 to 200 Blogs
1st is always special, and so is the 200th for me.
I wrote the first blog post to express myself, and I have the same goal for the 200th blog post.
Every moment and milestone counts when you’re building something on your own.

How my Travel Blogging Journey Began?
Honestly, I was not very confident in front of the camera and felt shy, but I wanted to express myself, especially about my travel experiences.
During those days, I was doing a digital marketing course. The course providers wanted students to make their own websites and practice SEO, SMM, and other things that were taught in the online class.
Hence, I made a website by following the tutorial provided and made the website.
Soon, I started implementing the techniques that were taught and wanted people to read my blogs.
More about my Blogging Journey
I have been doing travel blogging for the last 6-7 years—I had a mindset to blog when I travel. However, that thought process changed a little when I wasn’t traveling for a few months.
But I need to keep going irrespective of whether I’m stepping outside of home or not.
Previously, when I completed 100 blogs, I shared insights from my 1-100 blog journey.
Apart from travel, I also started writing about self-improvement and shared my travel experiences in greater depth. I wrote about photography too, hoping others could learn from it.
You can consider 85% of my blog on travel experience and the remaining around a few other topics that I have been implementing/learning and putting into use for years.
For a few months, I went to Ooty for a filmmaking Diploma, and I was completely inactive from blogging.
I started again when I returned home. Particularly, the home played a very crucial role in bringing back my daily habits which I wanted to continue.
A lot has happened on the journey from 1 to 200 blogs. I traveled across several Indian cities, and gained new experiences and learnings—and how can I forget the two international countries I had the chance to explore?
Challenges
This journey has been full of ups and downs. I never wanted to stop blogging altogether. But, I myself—how else would I truly express who I am?
I’ve faced several challenges along the way—like consistently creating fresh content, ensuring my blogs remain visible in top search results, and traveling often enough to keep my niche relevant.
Along with that came moments of self-doubt: What if my blog doesn’t grow? Especially after investing so much time, energy, and personal sacrifices.
Even when I reached 40-50 blogs, I didn’t have any blog subscribers. I tried hard, did my best but nothing was happening. In the starting, we had a community on twitter, where people shared the blogs and other used to like and comment. But, soon it got desolved as people lost interest.
Later, I realized it’s good to have people coming organically rather than forcing anyone to do anything.
While I’m still figuring out many things, I constantly remind myself that hard work eventually pays off—and that’s what keeps me going.
Changes
My writing style and tone have evolved over the years.
When I started, for some blogs I gather information from different sources and write in half-broken English, just trying to express what I could.
Here’s the 1st blog post I have written. Though, I’ve changed it a few times as and when I felt to change.
Over time, I started writing from my own experiences, gradually improving my skills and finding my voice. I truly believe that if you keep going, change is inevitable.
My mindset in writing started as an unexplored activity, and then slowly and steadily, it gave me the purpose to express and continue.
Eventually, I wanted to improve the overall user experience on my blog. That’s when I began focusing more on photography and SEO. Photography had always been a part of my life—even before I started writing—but now I wanted to make each image visually compelling to elevate the look and feel of my posts.
My Favorite Blogs
Over the years, I’ve traveled to many beautiful places, and each destination has its own story—a memory in my heart. It’s genuinely hard to pick favorites because every blog has been the result of effort, emotion, and countless experiences.
I truly cherish them all. But if I were to highlight a few special ones:
- On my 22nd birthday, I embarked on a Delhi to Chitkul journey alone.
- I wanted to experience a snow trek and encountered snowfall during the Rani Sui Lake Trek.
- During the Lunar New Year in Jan 2025, I did my first solo international travel to Vietnam.
- Visiting Andaman in the off-season with friends was the ultimate delight.
- Unexpectedly my first international trip happened when my sister messaged me to go to Malaysia.
Each of these moments has been truly precious to me.
What Kept Me Going?
Honestly, I’m always excited to visit a new place and explore and super excited to express myself through blogs and visual content.
Ultimately, that kept me going for years and years.
Gratitude and Reflection
From getting just 30 views a month to reaching 6,000—it’s been a journey of slow and steady growth. But more than the numbers, it’s the personal growth that matters the most. I’ve learned to express myself more clearly, honestly, and confidently with every blog I write.
I constantly strive to get better—not just as a writer, but as someone who shares real experiences that help others. It’s incredibly rewarding when someone reaches out on Instagram or via email with questions, and I get the chance to help them in whatever way I can.
To all my blog subscribers—thank you for reading and supporting my work. A special thanks to Mr. Harinder Rana, who consistently replies to my blog emails. Your kind words, time, and encouragement truly mean a lot.
What’s Next?
I’ve also been focusing on creating video content and embedding it into blog posts to make the experience even more immersive. It’s been a mind-blowing journey of creation, and through it all, my goal has remained the same—to keep growing and improving.
Fingers crossed, I’ll continue evolving in every possible way and bring even more value to each blog I create.
