The first question that comes to mind when planning a solo trip to Vietnam is—Is it safe to travel alone to Vietnam?
Traveling Solo to any place is not easy. Indeed, it requires you to focus more on yourself because you have to deal with all the challenges on your own that comes your way.
You’ve just got to believe in yourself that whatever circumstances come your path, you’ll handle it.
I’ve planned my solo trip to Vietnam with the same mindset—I’ll figure it out.
My Solo Trip to Vietnam from India
However, I love to travel solo, until and unless I get accompanied by someone who has the same creator mindset and a hunger to chase and capture the moments.
I stayed in Hanoi Vietnam for 6 days. The majority of the days I explored streets of Old Quarters because I was in awe to see the beautiful streets, and also it was the time of Tet in Vietnam.
Furthermore, I met many local people on the street and indeed talked with a few. They all seemed very welcoming and only talked as much as required.
Genuinely, I feel, if you’re traveling with a goal in mind. The chances are very rare that you get lost.
I’ll explain two situations here.
First Situation:
Let’s say: Your goal is to travel and see a beautiful sunset spot, and focus only on reaching there. Then, whatever challenges come your way, you’ll pass them.
Second Situation:
Let’s say: You don’t have a goal to travel, you just travel because some of your friends traveled there. Then, the chances that you’ll lose your path are high, because you’ll stay confused all the time.
My Solo trip to Vietnam was very clear. I wanted to make content with minimal spending possible.
For the first three days in Vietnam. I explored Vietnam streets on foot and captured the moments and beauty of that place—just focused on what I came here for.
The rest of the days, I went outside the city, but the goal remained the same.
My Solo Vietnam Trip cost for 6 days was less than 60k—the experience was mind-blowing. I remained satisfied with all my efforts towards creating travel content and experiencing Vietnam in the best possible way.
Yes, I felt it was safe to travel solo to Vietnam!
I met people from different countries, Germany, the U.S., Switzerland, and also India. All have different goals like—just relaxing, traveling to places, shooting content, enjoying time with family, etc.
When traveling solo, being polite and respectful is the best way to have a safe and meaningful experience.
Thus, this was my honest opinion about traveling solo to Vietnam.
I loved my time in Vietnam, and you’ll love your solo travel too.
Have a goal—take the step.
